The range of architecture to be seen in Oxford city and county needs little introduction. We are arranging to visit Broughton Castle, Blenheim Palace and Ditchley Park amongst other sites. We will be spending a full day in Oxford itself (with options for fixed visits or for free time to explore) and we shall also visit Abingdon, Ewelme and other less well known places.

Accommodation has been arranged at the three-star Best Western Sudbury House Hotel, on the outskirts of Farringdon. The cost is inclusive of all meals except lunch in Oxford. Dinner on Monday night will include wine.

Early booking would be helpful, to ensure availability of hotel rooms.

It is intended to leave Newcastle on the Friday at 8.00 am and to return by 8.00 pm on the Tuesday. The final cost is yet to be confirmed. We are asking for a deposit of £200 per person. This will be refundable up to, but not after, a date of which not less than 10 days notice will be given.
