Wednesday 12 March 2014
Roger Curtis
The pressure to reduce fuel consumption in older buildings is growing. With the advent of the Green Deal and other improvement schemes, the building conservation sector needs to develop affordable ways to reduce carbon emissions from not only historic buildings, but also those of traditional construction.
In this lecture, Roger Curtis, Technical Research Manager at Historic Scotland, will describe the research and trials carried out by Historic Scotland and some of the advice given to owners on appropriate and sustainable thermal upgrades.
