Clifford's Fort, Fish Quay, North Shields. NE30 1JA
The Old Low Light is Grade 2 listed and the oldest surviving building on North Shields Fish Quay. It has recently been refurbished by Tyne and Wear Building Preservation Trust and has just been occupied by The Net Project as a Cultural and Heritage Centre.
We had a short tour of the building and a talk about its fascinating history. We followed this with a buffet and refreshments and Tom Yellowley's Christmas Quiz to complete the evening.
