The Master's House, Ledbury

It is almost 10 years since we visited the Master's House in Ledbury as it was being restored. We were fascinated not just by the existing structure but the quality of the workmanship being undertaken under the direction of a brilliant team of conservationists.

Gary Butler was the Conservation Architect for the project. He recounted the development of the strategy of conservation and the change of use with reference to the introduction of insulation, heating, air tightness and modern environmental control into this ancient structure.
