The City Guide to Newcastle and Gateshead

Grace is the society's Vice President and a prolific contributor to our programme of events. In this lecture she will follow up the 2009 publication of her Pevsner Town Guide; Newcastle and Gateshead.

Grace formerly worked for English Heritage Listing Branch, and she has taught part-time in the University of Newcastle about the historic buildings of the region, mostly for the Centre for Lifelong Learning. She edited the newsletter of the Society of Architectural Historians of Great Britain for many years and is Past President of the Society of Antiquaries of Newcastle upon Tyne.
