Forging the Future

Stephen gave an insight into his work as a third-generation family blacksmith. He was accompanied by his daughter Ashlee who is also a blacksmith, both of them working from their smithy at Redrow in Northumberland.

Stephen has been awarded the Tonypandy Cup by the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths twice.

In 2010 the award was given for his work on the Burial Ground Gates at Hulme Park, Alnwick, commissioned by the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland.
